Hello so I have this older Samsung gaming laptop from around 2013-14 decided to take it out of my basement finally and started to use it. But it has some issues first issue being it wont power on with out the HDMI being plugged in and the second issue being if a try and play a game like csgo or osu it just immediately shuts off the system. I was just wondering if anyone of this forum could help me out with this issue.

what is the model of laptop? It should be on the bottom somewhere.

If I had to guess I would say GPU issues, if you try to power it up without the HDMI connected does the power LED light up but nothing shows up on the laptop's screen? (and does anything ever show up on the laptops screen even with HDMI connected?)

why no dark mode?

The Model is a NP300E5E and the light doesn't even show up unless it's connected via HDMI then It can be powered on.

That's a weird one. I don't really know how to help you...
