SHP9500 Vs ATH-GDL3 Soundstage, Imaging, Clamping-Force, breathability & glasses comfort?

Hi what is the ATH-GDL3 Soundstage, Imaging, Clamping-Force, breathability & comfort for glasses compared to the SHP-9500? I love my SHP-9500 but I sometimes find myself having to keep re-adjusting around my ears & head depending where I am.

Also can I use any 3.5mm cable or does it have the locking-mechanism that restricts the user to use brand labelled cables like the Sennheiser HD 598?
