Hey guys, third try for actual help on that problem: We need a new PC to control 3 separate cameras and stream an event at 1080p/30fps at least.

Another requirement is the USB ports, we need 3 USB3 and 2 USB2.

The other PC was a bit too weak, the frames it put out to the stream were dropping randomly and the CPU was constantly at 100%

so here is what I put together, what do you think?

Just my $0.02 --

I was looking into doing something similar to supplement my original rig, but after consulting with those streaming on a budget, was told that for streaming or recording, I should be looking at a processor with at least 8 cores and 4 threads. I ultimately wound up building a 5900X rig, holding my 8-core 1700 rig in limbo for possible NDI streaming duty.

While the 6 core / 12 thread 2600 might (and I emphasize MIGHT) do the job for streaming, it may not do it particularly well. And I would consider a better cooler as well to keep temps down -- streaming and recording is very processor-intensive and kicks the temps up a bit.

I would also probably step up to a board with better VMR cooling as well. They're not that much more expensive. Better cooling in this area helps motherboard and CPU life considerably, as well as performance.

I would think about getting 32GB of DDR4-3200 rather than 16GB of DDR4-3600. RAM quantity affects performance a bit more than RAM speed.

Case looks decent, might be a little short on airflow but could cool okay if you stuff it with 5 or 6 fans.

I know your budget is not in USD, but exchange rate aside, for streaming, this is what I would do with $1000 USD (not including OS)... Be aware these are North American market parts, meaning the PSU is designed for 110V / 120V AC US current, I believe most of Europe runs 220V / 230V. Keep in mind, you may be able to save a few bucks here and there, but this build is much closer to what you need if you want it to last and perform well. For example, I spec'd a 1050ti GPU, you may be able to get away with spending a bit less there, but not sure I would recommend it.

Food for thought, I went into my upgrade planning for a $1500 budget and reusing what I could from the old rig. Budget blown nearly twofold at $2750 and counting, and still contemplating a capture card. It's worth it though -- my new rig consistently runs cooler than most published median test temps.

Recommend these changes. Definitely a better cpu and motherboard combo. I would also recommend better case.

As already suggested, I will go for a better case, but I will look around my local retailers. I just picked this one for small price. As An0maly already suggested, I will keep a good eye on cooling, especially CPU. I am much more of an AMD fanboy, which is why I will probably go for this suggestion.

concerning GPU's: why such a weak GPU? Isn't 4GB nothing nowadays? Also, could you suggest an AMD GPU in that price range too?

Oh, used parts would not look good on the bill for our sports club, this is what I need the PC for

If you want to go AMD, wait until AM5 comes out. Zen 3 should drop in price and fit into your budget a bit better. Intel is the better choice right now though. Alder Lake had significant IPC improvements. 12700k all around beats out the 5900x and mostly beats out the 5950x even in workstation loads.

Not entirely sure why they went for a 1050ti when you can fit a 3050 in your budget. Nvidia GPUs handle streaming much better thanks to NVENC.

My reasoning for my suggestions is that my understanding is streaming is much more processor-intensive than GPU-intensive. Now, perhaps a 1080ti might have been a better choice, or perhaps a 1660ti. But unless I'm missing something here, they need more under the hood and less window dressing. And more under the hood means cooling is where money would be best spent.
