High core clock CPU for Minecraft server

So, I’m trying to build a Minecraft server, and I am having some trouble picking a cpu for the build. I’m looking to know what is the highest core clock cpu I can get for about $160. I’m not really partial to either AMD or intel, just whatever is the best for this use case. I was kinda looking at the i3-10100 but I’m looking to see if there is a better option. I appreciate any advice that can be given.

core clock isnt everything, just the fastest single core performanc is best. For example, for 160$ comming up youll be able to buy the ryzen 5500, which is jsut so much faster in single core than the 10100

Pure speed doesn't say everything about a CPU's single core performance. 

 

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.
