RAM Upgrade

Hi! 

I currently have a b450 mortar Max with a ryzen 5 5600x and 16g(2x8gb)nof ram. However my ram is only 2400mhz and i'm thinking in an upgrade. 

Should i upgrade to 32gb or stick to 16gb? It's for gaming and programming. 

And what speed should I buy? I was thinking in 3200mhz.

2x 16GB is what I recommend for most things, unless you are really trying to scrimp.  Speed is personal preference, but my take is that up to 3200 or so, stability is not usually an issue.  YMMV.  Dual rank vs single rank is probably more apt to make a notable difference in performance, than speed and CAS (imho).
