Some UPS advice?

if I have a 500w PSU, do you think that a UPS like intex 650VA MAESTRO IT-650M could handle it? If couldn't then what bad could happen despite the auto shutdown?

It's not just your PC, it's the sum total of everything plugged into the UPS--and add a bit of headroom for good measure.

 

You also need to verify if the UPS is modified-sine-wave or not.  If it is modified, you need to verify that all your components plugged into it will not have issues being fed modified-sine-wave.

 

For this reason, I usually recommend spending a bit more and going with whatever pure-sine-wave option is available--since they are usually a bit more than the modified ones.
