how do linux user make app image

What do you mean by app image, do you mean a package for installing? Are you sure the app is not available in the repos of Void Linux?

 

If you want to create a package for an app that doesn't exist in a distribution's repositories, you need to compile it from source. These are the instructions for Void Linux, just be aware that it's a fair amount of work: https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/blob/master/Manual.md

Could be referring to AppImage, which is along the lines of Flatpak.

 

If this is the case, the application may be available here: https://appimage.github.io/

 

It's important to note, however, that AppImages more or less will not work on a musl-based installation.
