Low budget possible pc build

I'm looking to build a budget pc, I already have a good mATX case and small psu. I currently have a laptop that I play games on, but it has a intel UHD 620 integrated gpu. My question is if I get a Ryzen 5 5600g without a dedicated gpu would I be looking at a gain in performance or not really?
