Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR4 BIOS Update lower CPU performance

Yesterday I updated my bios to version F7 from F4 and I noticed that the CPU does not boost as high as it was boosting before. For example, in prime95 before the BIOS update, the CPU was boosting to 4.5GHz and was consuming 180 watts, now it's consuming 130 W with 4.1GHz. Also noticed around 500 less points in Cinebench R23.

Multi-core enhancement is Enabled and CPU Upgrade is Max Performance.

Does anyone else observe this behaviour? Is it possible to enable the "lost" performance, or I need to downgrade to F6 or some other BIOS?

Just overclock the cpu, you didnt even mention what cpu you have, nor temps

Yeah, my mistake. I have i5-12600k with Noctua NH-D15. In Prime95 with 180 Watts it never reached more than 80C. Overclocking is possible, but I do not have enough free time to stress test it enough to make sure it works as expected 馃槥

4.5g is weak asf

If you really dont have the time then just plug in 4.8g 1.25v on the p cores and that should be stable
