Hey everyone, I've had an ongoing issue with with the Xbox server connectivity being blocked yet I've tried everything to fix it, I've tried the firewall, IP helper restart, Xbox services restart, i have tried everything yet its still blocked. does anyone know what this could be.

could be your router settings as some routers block certain services depending on the 'safety range' thats selected.

what router do you have?

What exactly is happening thats telling you its blocked and what firewall are you messing with?

i have been messing with the firewall in control panel, ive watched multiple videos on it but none have been successful.

Are you connected to your home network?

Is this a school issued device? 

 

Its possible your account has multiplayer for xbox live disabled

I found this online

(From Microsofts support page)

Xbox live multiplayer server connectivity blocked
Login to account.xbox.com.
Go Under Privacy Settings.
Click on Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety.
Make sure the setting for "You can join multiplayer games" is set to Allow.

its allowed, i have checked this too unfortunately
