Hi forum, I've been tempted by this pre-build as a first time computer. 

 

Is this good value at $899 or still better off building something myself? 1660 super seems....fine? But if anyone had a solid opinion or experience with it I'd appreciate any feedback.

It’s a good price for the specs, they note the ram configuration being dual channel which for a prebuilt is really good.

I’ve seen a few reviews on these Lenovo gaming desktops and used one myself, they’re solid, conventionally atx standard, it’s just that the case isn’t the best for airflow and the stock cpu cooler is meh at best.

 

It’s a good choice for the price, short term I would look at a cpu cooler replacement, as it will heavily reduce noise.
