I have the original Asus TUF 3080 OC and would like to update its BIOS to use resizable bar, as with any firmware update, I am bit worry of the potential to brick my card. Probably not that big of a deal gaming wise as I could probably go to Asus to have it fixed for just currupt firmware but I use my computer for work now and my CPU doesn't has integrated graphic and I just can't afford to have my computer down for any extended period of time right now.

However, I've just remembered that my 3080 did come with dual BIOS (performance and quiet), so in case something went wrong is it safe to assume that I would still be able to use my card by simply using its hardware switch to move from performance to quiet BIOS?

Yes, if your card has dual BIOS it should be relatively "risk-free" to try VBIOS update even if you don't have a backup card.

But do you really need reBAR support that much anyway? So far it's hit and miss with most games.

guess not but it seems to help in Cyberpunk so I am bit interested to try that out (and if it's risk free anyway why not?)
