GPU VRM and VRAM Cooling

Hi,

 

If Both VRM and VRAM from a GPU are naked and exposed with no heatsink or thermal pads, is air cooling from a fan sufficient enough?

 

The GPU is a 8GB AMD Radeon R9 390 Series (MSI)

That really depends on what specific components in which configuration are used. 

 

But in your case an air flow by which I mean a strong enough fan blowing air directly on the components should suffice for gaming load
