Speed lost on the Internet

Hello,

I am currently dealing with a problem where our lan internet is somehow losing speed through the line. The order in which I am currently connecting internet lines is from modem to wifi router to switch box for my current internet setup to cover all the lan ports in the house and the wireless devises. The router I am using is a ASUS wifi 6 router and the switch box is a 16 port NetGear switch. If anyone knows wifi router settings for this situations please tell me.

What makes you think your losing speed? What type of cables do you have, rated speed of ports, application you were attempting to use (like ftp, utp, tftp, ect.). Hard to know what your problem could be. Also if its purely lan speeds your worried about, then the modem wouldnt be a concern since that would be dealing with connecting you outside your lan.

I my speed drop by 200 mbps from the modem to my computer after passing through the router and the switch.

could it be some other device using 200mbit of bandwith in your network?

What you tried a direct connection between your modem and computer, what kind of cables your using, what are you trying to do, its hard to identify a potential problem without more information.
