So, i found out that my 2 stick of Trident Z Neo (16 Gb) was bus of 3600Mhz, which surpassing the NATIVE (JEDEC) support of my mainboard and cpu as well.

I've find on the internet and it told me that in order to use its maximum power, i need to overclocking (aka enable XMP). I also found a lot of post saying that overclocking ram will make the ram surpassing the power it should be, surpass the cpu support speed and made it hotter, reduce the ram lifespan...etc . Just a short question, will overclocking ram to it should be breaking my pc? Will my PSU suppling enough power?

CPU : I7-12700F

Mainboard : Z690M Aorus Elite

Ram : Trident Z Neo 3600Mhz DDR4 16GB x2

PSU : Gigabyte P750GM

I also got a liquid AIO Cooler

Moved to CPUs, motherboards, and memory

Overclocking your RAM isn't going to destroy your PC. Worst case scenario is if it doesn't boot with the new RAM settings you just clear the CMOS to reset it to default.

Overclocking RAM will only consume like, 2W more. It's not a concern.

That gigabyte power supply is a fire hazard though.

Before anything, swap that out. That PSU is a fire waiting to happen. See Gamers Nexus for more details.

Yes, you paid for the faster speeds, you might as well use the faster speeds.

Yes it will draw more power, but it's like an extra couple watts at most. Your hard drive will likely draw more power than your RAM.

It'll be a little hotter, but barely. And yeah, it might reduce the lifespan depending on what memory chips you have and how sensitive they are to voltage, but with the 1.35v found on basically every RAM kit it would be something like from about 20 years to about 19.5. It doesn't matter, enable XMP for better performance.

No.

Most other good 750w PSUs, yes. That one, I'm gonna have to say no, but that's because it shouldn't be powering the rest of your system.
