I have a newly built i7-12700F+ASUS Strix B660 and NZXT Kraken X63 AIO. The AIO is 5 years old and have a LGA 1200 bracket (Just ordered 1700 bracket from NZXT)

What are the normal temps should I get? Because on casual usage like watching youtube videos, I get a random spike to 70-80C on MSI Afterburner. And in gaming CPU Intensive like Dota2 and CSGO I’m getting also 70-80C

These temps are acceptable. 100c is the throttle limit of your processor.

If you try Prime95 or IntelBurn test (AvX) and temps hit 100c, that address the cooling issue. Be it case flow or the cpu cooler it's self or both.

But what about the random temp spikes? Just now I’m just waiting for a download to finish and my temps climbs to 76C while the CPU usage is at 0-10%.
