Modded Minecraft Suggestions?

I've got the sudden urge to play Minecraft, but I'd like to spice up the gameplay using mods. So far I installed Forge for Minecraft 1.16.5, and within it just a couple client-sided mods (such as optifine and some others).

 

If anyone's got any mod suggestions for an interesting survival playthrough I'd like to see them, thanks in advance.

"Feed the Beast Lite" is a great modpack introducing a lot of industral and magic stuff without being overbearing imo. But it's only available for old versions of the main game. It uses 1.4.7 afaik, so fairly ancient.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

FTB Crackpack. Runs 1.7.10 but it's really fun but it can be a bit heavy but it's filled with fun mods
