There is nothing wrong in buying used GPU. GPUs usually work for more than 10 year. Used GPU in good condition will most likely work without a problem for upcoming few years, But buy it locally and test if GPU worsks. Basically if it works well, There is 99% chance it'll contunue to work and 1% it will stop working 😄

I3 12100F is perfectly capable of gaming. You will be GPU limited in this budget.

GTX 1650 is not better than 5600XT, But 6500XT is basically garbage, At list 1650 will have some resale value later. But both GPUs are pretty bad for 300 Euros. I would definitely not get either of those. Buying used GPU may seem scary, But it's your only option to get normal GPU unfortunately. So RX 580 8GB or GTX 1660 series card (Super/ti) Should be available for 300 Euros, Search used GPUS locally, On facebook or something like that.

Thanks, got an 1660 super for 220 today.

That you aren't getting a gpu in this build basically. I see overspending and such but either way a 1050ti is just not a card to get in this day and age as it's the absolute minimum to have a playable experience at 1080p 60fps.

Other than that there isn't anything wrong here part from the more expensive ssd and far overkill psu.

But also it's a far older platform at this point and maybe don't invest in that?

Build this, It'll be much better. But for a GPU, I would recommend looking at used market to get something like RX580 or GTX1660.

As you undoubtly know the gpu prices are high, so would it maybe be a good investment if i got a prebuild instead? Thanks in advance.

Is it smart to get an i3 12100F with an RX 6500XT?

Whilst the rx 6500xt is a more performant card it is basically garbage in terms of it's usefulness. I mean it won't even be able to decode the next big upcoming video codec.

A prebuilt might not be a bad option here.

In terms of an investment usually, no. I don't know the options available to you in the Netherlands exactly, but getting a pre-built mostly won't get you a GPU any cheaper and some of the GPUs used in pre-builts are of sketchy quality. (And some are outright scams - like the "gaming PCs" with GT 710s I've seen on some sites)

That isn't to say that it's necessarily a bad option. You just won't get the GPU any cheaper this way.
