PC shutdowns

Hey this started about a week ago when my PC randomly shutdown while I was playing. Recently the shutdowns have being happening more and more often. I just would like some suggestions on how I should trouble shoot it . What programs to use? and if necessary where to take me PC. I live in Charlotte NC USA.

Look in the Windows Event Viewer first.

"A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the AVP service." What does this mean. It looks like every time my PC crashed it has this same error. What am looking for in the event viewer?
