Can I use my at home NAS to hold Xbox games and download them to my Xbox whenever I want to play them?

I'm currently using it to hold most of my steam library but if I buy another HDD can I use it for Xbox Game Storage to transfer, and how would I go about setting it up to allow me to transfer and get the games over to the NAS?

it is probably best to use that hard drive to expand the xboxes storage directly
