list of things to do:
rebuild psu for external PSU
add custom connector with

  • 8 AWG for 12v 36 AMPS (single rail)
  • 16 AWG for -12v
  • 10 AWG for 5v
  • 10 AWG for 3V

build case? or use ml05 for Matx motherboard?

i know that an Matx motherboard isnt supposed to fit in side but hmmm its alway fun to mod
 

buy a gpu either a r9 270x or gtx 760

       anyone else know any high end single 8 pin gpu?

 

build a seperate housing for gpu? or mod it and make it fit in an old external WD hard drive 

build a custom pcie x16 to smaller connector + smaller connector back to pcie x16 or cut a hole and run a standard pcie ribbon through each case

 

 

right the proposed spec of the build is using parts i already have

  • fx 6300
  • non usb 3.0 or sata 3.0, AM3+ board its an asus one (95w)  ASUS M5A78L-M
  • ocz vertex 60 gb SSD
  • pair of 500gb wd green HDD
  • GPU undecided
  • some oem hp ram x 4gb sticks

i mean strip it apart and replace the fan, de solder the current wires going out and add thicker ones so i can make a break away board within the case leaving more space in for other stuff like a 240mm rad in a very small case
