Undervolting 12700K

I got a 12700K for a great deal, but I have no motherboard and DDR5 yet.

 

Looking at reviews, it looks like it is pointless to overclock this thing as there is very little OC headroom and a huge increase in power consumption when voltage is increased.

 

 

I am wondering how well does it undervolt?

 

how well does it undervolt and even underclock for maximum efficiency?

Processors run most efficient around their base clocks. You would simply turn off the turbo.

 

The turbo is what makes it pointless to overclock. The cpu does it for you.
