Volta Spark Charging Cable

Was anyone else inspired to order the Volta Spark charging cable from the Techlinked ad spot a couple of weeks ago?

And if so has it shipped yet? 

 

I ordered one myself but it's been over 2 weeks with the status of order confirmed. I just emailed for a status update yesterday but no response yet.

Used magnetic tipped cables few years back. I kept losing tips and cable did not make proper contact after a while resulting in no data transfer and no fast charging. I will continue to stick to regular USB C cables. I also do not believe in $50 USB cables, let alone magnetic ones.

According to a few reviews they seems promising. Not like the cheaper Amazon ones. If it works well then I'd order them for all devices, especially since i could use 1 cable for both my iPhone and Samsung.

But shipping seems to be the issue right now.

Lol 5 years on my 5 buck cable and magnetic plugs still work perfectly.
You either had bad quality/luck or bad use.

The do however work at USB2 speeds as they only use the 2 data lines. (fine by me, mostly for charging anyway).

I could not live without magnetic connected cables anymore.

Use them on my phone, tablet, controllers, flashlights and some of my camera's.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!
I'm just helping YOU to help YOURSELF!
(The more info you give the easier it is for others to help you out!)

Not willing to capitulate to the ignorance of the masses!

Created an account to ask a similar question.  I ordered some cables from Volta on Jan 2nd this year.  I still have not received a shipping notification.  I've contacted Volta a few times, knowing logistics and Covid have made things complicated.  They "assure" me my order has been created but have not given me any idea or indication when the items will actually ship.  I'm in the US.
