Did you check the default output device setting in windows? With a gpu installed the default audio often switches to the monitor.

So I am guessing that you have some kind of Realtek onboard Audio solution. Try downloading the latest drivers and install them. You will have to reboot afterwards. Let's hope that fixes it. Here is the Link to download the driver package

It says  "no driver was supported in the driver package
