Is VMware safe?

Well i want to try arch linux. So i'm gonna install VMware. But i installed it on my old pc and it installed ethernet drivers. Is VMware safe? Is ethernet drivers going to cause a problem?

Okay. When i get my job done with VMware. I will remove it from control panel. Will it get rid of the drivers?

It's a driver for a virtual ethernet adaptor. It will not pose a security or stability risk.

Okay. When i remove VMware player from control panel. These things will be gone right?

If not, you can right click the virtual device in device manager and uninstall it.

I'm scared that it will broke my pc. My pc is expensive.

It's software. Software will, at worst aside from incredibly rare and incredibly strange circumstance, require you to format the drive and reinstall your OS.
