It seems to have a ton of issues with determining what is compatible and what isn't. I have a list in PCPartPicker and was going to order a majority of the parts from Newegg so I figured I'd toy around with their PC Builder parts list... can't seem to find the AIO, PSU, etc.. 100% confirmed these parts are all compatible as well via plenty of other builds on PCPartPicker.

List what you got, it'll be pretty easy to tell you what will and won't work.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

My thoughts.

  • ATX boards in the 011 Mini (I own one) can make fitting an AIO in the top challenging sometimes, if you put it in the side next to the motherboard tray it'll be fine.
  • Get 2x16GB instead of 4x18GB. Less stress on the IMC, leaves room for expansion.
  • 12700k + non-FE 3080.. i'd be weary about that PSU. I have the SF750 in my 011 Mini but I run my 3090FE at stock with a minor undervolt. 011Mini can fit SFX-L PSU's which opens you up to 1000W units. I know Cooler Master makes a popular 850W.
  • Unifan 3-packs each come with a controller and everything needed to hook up up to 16 fans. You only need one three pack and then just singles if its cheaper.
  • PSU extensions are never a good idea, i prefer full cable replacements. Increasing resistance isn't what you want to do.

Thanks for the input! In response:

  • Yep, i planned on putting the H100i on the side next to the mobo
  • I did 4x8 solely because it's DDR4 and I don't plan on upgrading to 64Gb before I'd make the jump to DDR5. So it was more of an aesthetic thing so all slots were filled. Everything I've seen too suggests that 4 > 2 in regards to performance, but I won't claim to be an expert on memory.
  • I really wanted to go with Corsair strictly because they've always made some of the best, if not hte best, PSU's - at least in my experiences. I did see the Cooler Master 850W I'm guessing you're referring to but I also saw that it had a ton of issues with fan speeds and noise. There's also the EVGA SuperNOVA at 850 as well and that got decent reviews but folks did mention some coil whine...
  • I'll check on that, thanks!
  • Oh.. honestly, I thought what I had selected was replacements so I'm glad you pointed that out. Do you happen to know any decent full cable replacements in white that are decent?

Thanks again!
