No, as long as you dont hard bend/kink them, should be safe and fine.

Only thing i'm going to add, Replace the elastic band with twist tie or cable tie. Elastic Bands, especialy around electronics will degrade and snap and you'll just end up wondering why all the cable sex happened anyways.

 

there's no safety issue, just annoying as hell
