BIOS Question

Go to solution Solved by officedemon,

updating the bios fixed everything for me, keep in mind i was not using the TPM in the first place

greetings
about a week ago i turned on my PC and got this message, i haven't changed anything and it looks like my TPM chip got corrupted

i've just been hitting the N key to continue like normal

(see attached files)

i'm currently on windows 10 with an Gigabyte Aorus master B550 board
i'm on Bios F13H and it looks like there is a update to F13 and F14

i'm guessing since i'm on windows 10 turning off TPM is not a big deal since i have no encryption enabled

what's the best way to fix this screen? just update the bios?

my long term question is will upgrading to windows 11 with a corrupted TMP chip be a nightmare for me?

i was going to wait a few hours to see what you guys said on here first, my plan was to update to the current bios version.

also dose anything think this will happen again?

NV corrupted suggests the battery backup may have failed, try putting a new one in, should be "penny" style CR2023 I believe.
