Issue with RAM

I have just bought a new pc and decided to build it myself.

everything works with the pc other than the RAM. If I remove the ram the pc works and doesn’t switch off but if I plug in either of the two rams in any of the slots (I tried all the slots with either ram) the pc will shut off after 10 seconds or so.

wandering if anyone had any tips on how they can help me with my issue

RAM: 8x2 go 3200mhz Vengeance DDR4

Motherboard: B460 Aorus Pro

GPU: 1060 6GB

CPU: I5 10400f

PSU : Aerocool Intergrator 850w (this came with my old pc)

Well if you didnt check the qvl then you didnt check if it was compatible. The rams part number will be listed on the board sites memory support list.

Before I bought the ram for the motherboard I used the website pcpartpicker.com where it says the ram I bought would work

i just used https://pangoly.com/en/review/gigabyte-b460m-aorus-pro that website were it said it was incompatible. Was wandering if you could check if my motherboard which is the : B460 aorus pro is compatible with my RAM: CMK16GX4M2E3200C16 Vengeance LPX 2x8gb 3200MHz
