Has anyone managed to get different language virtual keyboard working?

Is there an apk I can just install and it would work?

Or do I need to mess with some adb settings?

So far failed gboard, fleksy, are less popular even worth trying?

Maybe gboard doesn't work without google services? Really don't want to install bloatware.
