Ah, its a Siemens but I may need to take it out of the wall to get the make/model number, doesnt have it on the front.
I'll see about getting it replaced and see if that fixes it. the breakers on a bed/bathroom circuit, as far as I'm aware those are the only rooms on this circuit.

Seimens made better stuff than homline.  An electrician may be able to make your problem for away though even if it involves putting in a cheater and running another circuit.

So im having a weird issue, its been happening for a long time and there is absolutely zero information online about this.
my issue is that when i upload any data at speeds above 2mb/s (something around that) my breaker trips, the breaker that is tripping is a 20A breaker.

i have a 600 watt power supply that at most can draw 10A, and the only other devices on the circuit are 5 hue lights, one BenQ monitor which draw a total of about 3A

(i did try moving it to another 20A circuit, it still trips)

i cant just swap out the breaker for a 25A one because this is in an apartment complex, and they dont allow a 25A breaker in a bedroom circuit

Im stumped as to why it keeps tripping, any suggestions?

What is the make and model of the breaker?  Another thing to remember is that circuit may cover other things besides your PC, (such as a bathroom or kitchen) so it may be a situation where a lot of power is already being drawn.  One quick check is what besides the PC goes out when the breaker pops?  Some residential breakers (such as some versions of homline) degrade rapidly after they’ve been popped a few times.  You may need to replace the breaker. (It’s an electrician thing)

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
