Alright. So I believe I'll have to wait this one out. Or is there a quicker alternative?

You could try compressing / combining the small files into one large file (e.g. zero compression rate should be fine, so long as you have a single large file in the end)

Hello everyone,

I am currently copying my Documents folder to my USB flash drive. The total size of the folder is about 25GB. I'm not sure if the speed is normal for a USB 3.2 flash drive (Screenshot Attached). I have tried the following methods to resolve the issue:

1. Changing the policy from Quick Removal to Better Performance.

2. Reinstalled USB drivers of the device.

3. Formatted the drive from FAT32 to NTFS

4. Checked the flash drive on a different computer. It works perfectly there.

I'm not sure why it's slow on my laptop. Please help

Thank You

Lots of small files = slow.  It will only ever reach its rated write speed for large files.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

compressing to zip, 7z before copping, is the best solution. Just to not kill that weak IOPS of Flash Drive

USB 3.2 Gen 1x1  = USB 3.1 Gen 1 = USB 3.0

So you just have normal USB 3.0 Flash Drive, that doesn't mean that it write speeds aren't 10MBps
Interface generation, protocol  =/= actual transfer speed
