Hello,

I have literally no idea what I did wrong. I have tried everything that I could think of and caused a bigger problem.

The problem originally started with my Mx Keys not connecting to my motherboard’s onboard WiFi. It has been working all the time up until this. I tried to remove the keyboard to no avail. Ultimately, I tried through other forums and solutions to remove the keyboard, try update the drivers, reinstalling the drives.

Basically, my keyboard still won’t connect, now the computer won’t recognize the onboard Bluetooth 5.0 and it is not showing up in device manager. How do I get my motherboard to work like it did from the factory?

System Specs:

motherboard: msi mpg b550i gaming edge max WiFi

ram: Corsair lpx 16gb

cpu: ryzen 5600g

cooler: ryzen box cooler

Storage: Samsung 970 evo 1tb

power supply: Corsair sf600

Did you by chance disable Wifi/BT in the BIOS. If so, reenable it.

If not, try this:

  • Shutdown the PC
  • Unplug it from the wall/shut off the PSU.
  • Press and hold the front panel power button on your case for 30 seconds.
  • Connect power/turn on PSU.
  • Boot up and check device manager again.

I have no idea but that’s roughly 10 or so B550/X570 boards I’ve helped people fix with that method. I’m sure someone could explain it.
