Mixing ram speeds

Is it Ok to mix ram that are the same model and brand but different speed are there any long term issue with this or will it be okay.

The computer will run the two sticks at the slower stick's speed. That's the only side effect.

The mobo will automatically clock down to the slowest RAM stick. This is okay, provided they are close in speeds to begin with. If you have 1 stick that is, say 1600 and another that is 3600, the system will likely not post

So is 2666 and 3200 to much of a jump im using Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4

Ehhh...that's a bit of a stretch. Only one way to find out...

(if the system refuses to boot, or is unstable, then you will know)
