So I recently gotten a new psu which was a Rm750x and a new case (p300a) it was running fine for a day and while playing a not so demanding game everything went black. I did hours of trouble shooting and when I took out the gpu (980 ti) it turned on with no display as I'm using a r5 3600. When I put my gpu (980 ti) into a different rig it wouldn't boot either and I figured it's bricked. So I decided to use my 1060 3gb and it worked fine when I woke up the next day it wouldn't turn on the gpu fan would turn about half way and stop and repeat that cycle while my system fans worked. I know my gpu (1060 3gb) wasn't bad either as I put it into a different rig and it spun up fine. I've swapped motherboards, but with the same cpu and it would have the same issue and I don't think it's a bad psu either as I've tested it on a different system and it worked fine. I've also cleared cmos, but that didn't work and changed different ssds. I also tested for ram the other thing I could see having an issue is the cpu. My specs are r5 3600,asus prime x570-p, evga sc 980 ti, corsair rm750x, phanteks p300a, crucial ballistix sport 2x8 ddr4 ram, cooler master 212 evo, samsung 970 evo 512gb.

Is there anything else I can do I'm open to ideas

You didn't happen to reuse cables from your old power supply, did you?

PSU Tier List   AMD Mobo Tier List   SSD Tier List

If your issue is resolved, please share the fix with the community.

I had a GPU blow out every single piece of hardware in the computer, including the fan motors, and even the power strip and wall socket. It was also a 980, in combination with... A corsair PSU. Yeah. So, check that the 1060 isn't damaged and if not I'd suggest replacing the PSU again. You can check whether its voltages are within spec and stable by booting it in that other computer if you want. But frankly the fact it failed a day after changing the PSU suggests the new PSU either has bad voltages or bad cords. I wouldn't even risk it myself since it's probably still within the return window. The only other possibility is a short to ground in the case, in which situation you should try booting without the case plugged in, if it has RGB or builtin fans.

I tried the 1060 in another pc and it worked fine, I'm thinking it might be something with the cpu as I've tried a different mobo already.
