I was playing minecraft yesterday and I was getting 600 fps to 1200 fps and it was really good performance but suddenly it just dropped to 165fps, it wont go over that and it will just stay at 165 or below fps. It was very irritating and today something annoying happend. I was just in the mc lobby when my pc froze. How can this happen to a new pc which I built about 1 month ago! I turned of the pc and turned it on but still it is frozen and again I turned it off and now it is unfrozen. Can anyone pls give me some help to why my fps dropped and my pc froze.

165 fps sounds like it is probably the limit of your monitor's refresh rate and vsync or adaptive sync got turned on when it wasn't before. 600+ fps is pointless anyway.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

What is your monitor? Sounds like what @Middcore suggested. V-Sync has been enabled on a 165hz monitor. Also 600+FPS won't give you any gaming benefit but will put more stress on your system than needed.

As for the "freezes", are these hard freezes, system locks up and can't move mouse or do anything. Or are there error screens, otherwise known as BSOD or blue screen of death?

One last thing, have you checked out what your temperatures are for GPU and CPU while gaming? If so, can you report what those temps are?

My monitor is the Asus VG258 with 165hz refresh rate and 0.5ms Trace free. I use G-sync in this monitor.

I meant is that like my system just froze that means no mouse moving the screen is just frozen . It is now unfrozen and runs in optimum condition.

My GPU is at about 35-40 Celsius. My CPU is about 47 Celsius. I think the temp is not bad.

Today I turned on my pc and it did not turn on. In my motherboard there are 3 lights which is red yellow and white. Normally it will go to white instantly and start put the screen in the monitor but today it just stayed at red and yellow. Red means-CPU and Yellow-Ram so I thought there was a problem in the cpu and ram so I just waited a couple of mins and it still has not started. My pc was newly built and this cannot be happening for a new pc.
