My pc crashed and it refuses to turn on.

My gpu has 1x6 pin and 1x8 pin. If the 6 pin cable from the psu is connected in the slot with 8 pin, the pc doesnt even start the fans.

If i connect 6 pins in the 6pin slot and the remaining 2 pins at the end of the 8 pins slot, pc starts but my display is black.

I dont have a cable that connects the display to the mobo to confirm that the system POST and boots.

Sounds like there's a short in the GPU so the power supply short circuit protection is kicking in.

You could try unplugging everything *but* the GPU and jumpstarting the PSU to see if it turns on even with that.  If the GPU has a short the PSU won't turn on for more than a second.
