i havnt got bluetooth and i dont have another cable this cables literally just been taken out the box it used to connect fine with the original cable

and yes ive tried all ports and one ends usb and the other usb-c ive reset ds4 and no i dont hear no sound when

connecting

Yeah thats a shitty cable. Dont worry thats pretty common unfortunately.
It does however mean you will have to buy another one.

Oh its USB-C connector, well thats a whole other heap of issues that can be the reason.

For instance the controller can want a USB3 connection (altho unlikely) and the cable only support USB2.
So many things can be a reason. Unfortunatly.

hi, im having a current issue with the ps5 controller it doesnt connect to my pc.

im using the usb c cable by  venom that typically comes with the ps5 bundles as i got it with my plug and play kit

im plugging it into the pc and it shows that its getting power on the controller but then nothing else happens, im stumped. my original ps5 cable has broken but im sure this should work as effectively as the original, after all it did come with the bundle

any help would be massively appreciated have a great day 🙂

for reference i have listed the cable im using below

I would try with a different cable if you have one.

I'm assuming your on windows 10

If you have bluetooth I would try that.
