Random lag spikes

I have random lag spikes, most in particular are CSGO and DOTA 2. I never have a problem with those games. Insurgency standalone i play fine as well as hearthstone i play fine.

 

Any suggestions?

Post your build and what are your temps? 'good' varies from people.

Sometimes, my games freeze too for like 1-3 seconds. Not really sure why, my 560Ti throttles at 100 degrees, and I don't think that it really runs at 100... It runs at around 95-97  :lol:

Which drivers are you using?  I had troubles using my GTX 560 with any drivers above version 314.22  

 

My screen would freeze for a few seconds then work again, sometimes it would freeze and not return.

That could be the problem, try 332.21, using the clean install option to remove all traces of the current driver.   

 

That is the driver I am using right now, and don't try to remove any components of the install, when I choose to not install the nvidia experience component the freezing would return.

Run the setup, choose custom install, and there should be a square where you can put a  check mark that says clean install.

click run the setup in geforce experience?
