Is this normal?

Whenever I play any game, my GPU goes to around 50-60%, (normal) but my CPU stays at 5-10%. Is it normal for the GPU to have way more usage than the CPU? My CPU is a 5900X, and my GPU is an ASUS RTX 3060 Ti.

Depends on the games being played and if they support multi-core CPUs. Check your thread utilizations to see if it's a couple cores at 100% utilization while in game.

The games I mostly play are light games and the game I play the most, Roblox, is a single-core game. That explains everything lol.

Well, that'll do it. 5900X is overkill for Roblox though.

yeah lol its normal,  especially if you dont have any issues...

(depends on the game and sometimes settings basically)

my current favorite example:

fatal frame 5, originally a wiiu game iirc, steam version,  why would this game need any significant resources? it doesn’t... and yet on weaker hardware someone might experience issues ...
