New RAM; keyboard input not registered by PC. How to proceed?

It states:

 

’devices changed (CPU or memory) or CMOS have been cleared. Please enter setup to configure your system. 
 

Press F1 to run setup 

press F2 to load default value and continue’ 

 

 

now my input in the keyboard is not recognised. It is a MX keys, tried it also plugged in into an USB port both front and direct on the mobo, still no luck.

 Something I’ve missed ?

 

 

open to any suggestions and thanks in advance 🙂
