Hey LTT,

Today I finally got bored of my boring Blue Cubes wallpaper with all the icons hidden in Fences and I saw @megadarkwood posted a metric butt ton of nice wallpapers today. I found a nice, colorful one and decided to ditch Fences and give Rainmeter a try. I started with the Simple Blue Rainmeter Skin and customized it to my liking. I still feel like I should add more to it though. What else do you guys think I could add the make my desktop more appealing? Also what do you think of my current setup?

PS:I used the Plex Windows Icon Pack to change my pinned program icons.

I like it. It's nice and clean, and simple. My desktop is, uh... Boring, to say the least. Waiting to get another HDD for all of my crap, then I'll have a nice wallpaper. I used Illustrio, changed a couple things, and it's almost to my liking. Might add a thing or two, but probably not.

I think it looks nice, keeping it simplistic is good. For the CPU temperatures, do you have to be running another application like Coretemp for it to work or does it work on its own? I've been looking for a skin that does that.

For the temps I get them from CoreTemp running in the background (Which doesn't really take any resources) and for the fan speeds I get them from SpeedFan which is also running in the background since it is controlling my fans speeds anyway.

PS: If you would like I can send you the skin that I am using/customized :)

How did you get it to have a : in between hours and minutes, do you need to make an edit to the clock.ini file?

Ya, Rainmeter skin editing is actually quite simple after you get the basics. I just added a ":" in between the hour and minute variables. I also changed/added a couple other things :)

PS: If you want I can send you my modified version of Simple Blue Skin.

:3 thanks :P I looked around at a couple Windows themes but didn't really find anything that fit my taste. Personally I find just the gradient taskbar good enough :) Thanks for the feedback though.
