Rate my first build!

Askeladd

Budget (including currency): roughly 1500 euros

Country: Italy

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly single player RPGs (looking forward to play Elden Ring, and GoW) and some university work (programming and cryptography)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://it.pcpartpicker.com/user/Askeladd__/saved/nvYpBm

Hi everyone! I'm building my first pc and I'm not 100% on some of the components. Is this good enough? How would you improve this? Right now I'm listing a 3060 ti, but I'm just going to buy the first card I can get for a good price between 3060 ti - 3070 - 3070 ti - 6700 xt (which is why I put in a 750w PSU).

I also don't need to build this soon, so I can afford to wait a month of two for a good GPU deal (hopefully a FE card).

I bought some parts in advance only because I thought those were good deals for those components and didn't want to miss out (also please let me know if I was horribly wrong in this decision ahaha).

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

"Rate my first build!"

On a scale from Italian Opera to scientific Thermometers, I rate your build as a very nice dogfish.

Hope that helps 🙃

On a more serious note, your PCPartPicker list is private so I can't view it

Can't really fault it, other than at this point I would spend the extra on the 12600k/Z690-DDR4.

No worries, welcome to the forums.

Only thing I would change is not pay full price fow Windows. Buy a cheap license off something like Kinguin.

I had thought about the 12600k/Z690, but given they would cost me almost double the 11400F/B560 and that would push me a bit too much over budget and when I saw the aorus pro ax on discount I just decided to go with that.

I'll definetely buy the key on some key site like Kinguin! At first I'll surely just use the free win10 version, I never intended to pay full price for it lol. I'll switch to the paid one only if I feel the need to, but I've heard some people say the free version is fine, so I'll try that first.

Thank you both very much for your feedback! 😃

Thank you for your suggestions! Unfortunately the build you posted is way too different from mine and I have already bought too many components to change it entirely... why did you feel the need to change it almost completely? I'm  really curious to know your reasoning/motivation! Also, I've heard that the 6600 is a bit "subpar" compared to other cards from this gen. I'm looking to get good FPS at 1440p /High, so I didn't really consider the 3060/6600, please let me know if I'm wrong!
