AMD B450 to AMD B550

So my current pc parts are

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor (6C/12T, 35MB Cache, 4.2 GHz Max Boost)
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX Motherboard
Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Edition Heatsink & Fan Black & White Intel & AMD Sockets
PowerColor AMD RX 580 8GB DDR5 RED DEVIL Graphics Card Gaming Version (AXRX580 8GBD5-3DH/OC)
Kingston KHX3600C18D4/16GX 4 Sticks 64gb total
Intel 660p M.2 2280 512GB PCI Express 3.0 NVMe Internal Solid State Drive Rev:4.00 (OS DRIVE) (2019/08/09 sticker date)

and im replacing the motherbord and psu but as im buying  a new motherbord B550 bard are the same price as B450 so i wanted to know will my current AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor (6C/12T, 35MB Cache, 4.2 GHz Max Boost)cpu work with B550?

I am thinking of buying ASUS TUF GAMING B550M PLUS (WI-FI) Micro-ATX M.2 SATA USB 3.2 Support AM4 Ryzen Desktop CPU as i can get that 100 ponds.

It will work but the CPU wont run faster.

Yep their something not so correct with motherboard or it could be power supply im going to buy both and try out and see if this hard drive keeps locking my pc its strange as it works in my other pc.
