Are these good or some part too obsolete? I want as cheap as possible. My company use it to store documents, report, files, ETC. Thanks!

Also, my company is doing "New-year-upgrade" so I will constantly post new build for my company here.

You can just buy some cheapo storage server off ebay, maybe have a look at 1155, 1150, and 2011 mass storage servers like this instead of getting ripped off with a consumer platform that doesnt even have hotswap or ecc ram

Though if you get that particular server id suggest swapping for an ivy bridge l xeon with 4 cores as its only a mass storage server

I am very confused by this entire build. What's the extra PCIe NIC for? Wi-Fi? Why are you using a dedicated GPU instead of a CPU with integrated graphics? Also, for a storage server using an external hard drive setup is extremely odd.

Note: I chose the cheap UPS one because the mission of the UPS is power the entire PC for just around 5 minutes before the generator can work.

Sorry but I don't trust eBay when comes to storage, espically storing important files.

32gb of ram? Dual Monitors? 3 dvd drives? Speakers? Webcam? External drives?

If this is just a simple file server, it is ill-thought out at best.

Yep it just a simple file server.

3 DVD drive because my company likes store thing like important or historic in DVD so they can last forever, Webcam? Hmm not really worth, I will remove it.

Bloody hell i mean get everything else off ebay and buy your storage off amazon or something, no need to get ripped off and handicapped by a crappy consumer platform that doesnt even have ecc or other server stuff like remote access

DVD is far from archival. At least go tape. And if this is for a business, ditch my build. Get an HP or Dell, then you have corporate level service. What is your data worth to your company?

Not much in-box storage for a "Mass Storage" build. The WD external drive is not suitable as a primary storage device.

The outlined build seems completely unsuitable for the stated use. Certainly optical storage, WiFi NIC, Quadro GPU, and dual monitors suggests the system will be used for something other than file services.

The advice to buy a system designed for the stated function is spot on. If you don't want used, buy new. Dell and HP offer decent entry level small business servers.

I would suggest separating the optical drives from the mass online storage server. Put them in the workstation of the user(s) that use them.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
