I've been trying to find a good solution for playing my PC on my LG OLED65CX6LA TV that's in the other room.

I've looked into Moonlight but getting the app on the LGTV is a massive pain!

I was considering a Nvidia Shield TV but it seems a bit expensive for just using it for the game streaming aspect.

Does anyone else have any solutions? Do you do this yourself?

Any suggestions or help is always greatly appreciated.

You could try Steam Link. The actual Steam Link hardware device isn't being produced anymore, and iirc a recent software update was causing problems of some sort. But you could see if your TV has the Steam Link app, or you could run the Steam Link or Parsec software on a Raspberry Pi.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Use any old used pc that supports a modern OS- you should be able to find a used office system to do this

id say steam link, but they’re discontinued and selling quite high now

What about an Android box?
