So I am upgrading my motherboard but I want to ask one question, do I need to delete my old drivers or something before I install my new motherboard? I saw some people say that I even need to redownload Windows 10 for my motherboard to not have any incompatibilities issues. My specs are right now,

Ryzen 5 2600

G.Skill DDR4 Ripjaws-V 2x4GB 3200MHz

asus prime b450m-a

Kingston A400 480GB SSD

550watt gold rated coolermaster

My motherboard is going to change to a Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING II, and my ram is going to change to G.Skill DDR4 Trident-Z 2x8GB 3600MHz RGB. Do I need to change any drivers, or can I just install my motherboard and ram?

You'll likely need to buy another windows license, they're more or less hardware-bound. There's a method to port over an existing license to a new board, but it's never worked for me.

I hadn’t heard this exactly, though perhaps effectively.  I’ve seen people use license keys for win7 to make 11 work. You might have to input the old one again which can be an impossible pain if you don’t have the key.  Find the key and make sure you have hard copy of it before you do the swap, so you can input it again. A clean install to make a new motherboard work is common because the new Motherboard may have different pats on it like different usb or wifi hardware that will need a different driver. Such drivers are stored on the install, so a clean reinstall will add the correct one.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

In theory, since you're not moving chipsets, you should be able keep your current Windows install without causing problems. The only drivers you may have to update/reinstall would be for board features like the LAN and audio drivers. If Windows isn't being difficult, it shouldn't deactivate on you, but that's up to the gods on Mount Redmond to decide.
