Okay so I just watched the LTT video on this and it immediately peaked my interest.

My question is what do I need to do for it? Do I need any quick sync drivers? Do I need to enable anything in BIOS? All the video explained was the OBS portion of the process and I'd be very surprised if that is all I had to do.

If you're using a dedicated graphics card, the Intel GPU will be disabled, so you can't use it.

If you're just using on board graphics (and have no dedicated GPU) just do this:

(obviously select quick sync and not Nvidia NVENC)

Okay well as I said in post I know how to enable it in OBS, my question is what all else do I need to do besides enabling the option in OBS if I'm using a dedicated gpu?

Re-enable the on-board graphics in the BIOS.

Or if you have an Nvidia GPU just you Nvidia NVENC

Yea I have Nvidia but I don't think NVENC will take as much load off my cpu and quick sync will.

Okay so on my z77a g45 board I only get the option to choose from either pcie graphics or integrated, if I enable integrated my screen won't display when attached to my 770. I believe the option to get around this is igpu multi monitor or something correct?

NVENC uses your GPU to encode the video. you drop 10% of your fps MAX

Yeah depending on what 3000-4000- series graphics you have. BTW to get it to encode without crashing you have to open another virtual display. If anyone needs help>
