Right now I am currently running a Corsair H100i Pro AIO, 5800x, and a ASUS TUF X570. When under load my 5800x runs at 87 degrees and with the pump speed at max it brings it down to 81 degrees. Is there a better AIO I can get to run it cooler or does the 5800x just run hot to begin with?

The 5800X does run hot in general, but it's not impossible to cool. You do only have a 240mm AIO, which can actually be beat by large air coolers like a D15, so while not totally insufficient, it's not the best of cooling options either. I'd imagine there's still other contributing factors, though. You didn't mention what case you have, for example.

fractal design meshify

Increasing radiator fan speed doesn't change temps. Only changing pump speed affects the temperature.

Not sure on other factors. I have good airflow, thermal paste, and the cooler is properly mounted

Wow strange. Thats unusually hot for being an airflow style case AND a 240mm AIO.

That sounds a little hot. When did you install the AIO or last change the thermal paste?

I suspect bad mount if you installed recently, or thermal paste gone bad.
