What version of minecraft should I install to run on AMD Ryzen 5 5600G's integrated graphics?

Hey guys,

I'm building a pc for my friends 9yo I'm going to be running Minecraft off the integrated graphics on the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G.
I'm not sure what version of Minecraft to install.

Thanks
Tyson

Java Edition, it tends to be less buggy and it's the go to version for modding. And if you're thinking about the Bedrock Edition for its controller support, it has massive unplayable deadzones so just forget it. The benefits of the Bedrock Edition are cross platform play and higher render distances, and that's about it.
